Welfare

Ensuring the welfare of all our players, coaches, referees and volunteers is the number one priority of Wargrave Wolves and our Club Committee.

We are incredibly fortunate to have two dedicated child welfare officers who are available to support our players.

Our Wargrave Wolves Welfare Officers are Nicki Weakford and Jon Hurley.

Nicki or Jon should be the first point of contact for any queries regarding any player’s welfare.

If you would like to talk to Nicki or Jon about a concern please use the following details;

Nicki 07779 248884 or email nicola.weakford@gmail.com

Jon 07971 185147 or email jonathan.d.hurley13@gmail.com

If you are a young person and would like to speak to someone in confidence that is not connected with the club, then Childline will be able to help: www.childline.org.uk or call 0800 1111.

If you are worried about the way someone has been communicating with you online or on social media please contact https://www.ceop.police.uk/safety-centre/ ho will be able to help.

It’s important to us that our players are able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse. For this reason our club endorses and adheres to The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy. Read more at Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures.
